Yan Sun: CEO

Yan is imiChat’s very own charismatic leader. His passion is people, and it’s no wonder why he has built a product that brings people together across the globe. Aside from founding and leading imiChat, he’s built companies, secured 20 US patents, advises the UNDP and the China Ministry of Science and Technology, serves as guest professor at Tsinghua, and holds a PhD from Stanford. Yan can be found in Shanghai, Silicon Valley, or somewhere above the Pacific Ocean where he shuttles between the US and China.

Yi Liang: CTO

Yi is the technical whiz who made imiChat the world-class product that it is today. Yi pioneered the world’s first mobile video messaging application over low GPRS networks. Essentially, he allowed almost anyone, anywhere to make video calls to their friends and loved ones. Before this, he gathered degrees from Stanford and Tsinghua, and secured 14 patents in multimedia.

John is imiChat’s organizational and project management genius. He’s worked in corporate leadership at companies large and small, and has owned his own consulting firm where he brought his skills to many more companies in need of his divine inspiration.”

Kerin: Senior Director of Business Development

Kerin is imiChat’s business development guru. Her background is in investment banking, venture capital, business development, marketing, and doing independent strategy consulting for foreign companies entering the US market. Plus she makes really delicious brownies.

Gaia: Senior Marketing Director

Gaia is the one who brings imiChat to the world. She has more frequent flier miles than anyone else in the company, and probably knows more about India than you do. She’s a marketing virtuoso, an MBA grad, and has an amazing knack for bringing imiChat to the millions of users who most appreciate and need the service.
